I Fix swings
Hey, It's Raph.
I've developed as one of the fastest growing baseball personalities out there but I'm far from where I stood 6 years ago. At age 25, my three year professional baseball career came to a halt and I was devastated. I came home and acquired jobs from almost every industry you can think of; Nascar, insurance sales, retail, etc. It was only through walking so many of the wrong paths, I realized that my skill set may be best suited for the life of an mentor. At 26, I opened what would become one of the fastest growing youth baseball organizations in Charlotte, NC by the name of "Unmatched Performance" which would go on to be the home of 8 traveling baseball teams. Some of which sent players on to play at schools such as Western Carolina, NC State, UNC Charlotte-- just to name a few.
One of the biggest things I noticed was, hitters just were not being developed properly. Young players were being provided the wrong information and I could see misinformation at the Little League level turn into bad habits during high school competition. Something had to be done.
Blindly, I created a social media platform in an effort to give people in other states a look at how I teach to provide the foundation of what I thought all hitters needed. Little did I know, that platform with the power of social media would make me one of the most sought after hitting instructors in the country.
This has been blessing. I'm thankful for the roller-coaster ride of a baseball career, the followers and students whom follow me avidly and apply my teachings, my parents for instilling dedication and sacrifice, and my God for breathing life into the vision on my heart.
